Fredric Abramson, Ph.D., S.M., Esq.
 President & Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Abramson, founder and CEO, has a diverse background that includes scientific research, consumer and technology businesses, technology law, and higher education teaching. His two decades in the consumer world includes retail appliances and electronics, rock and roll, audio records and retail weight loss franchising. He has a decade in the personal computer software business as well as experience with small business manufacturing. After his Ph.D. in human genetics, he was a genetics counselor and a full time clinical faculty member at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. He has been on the teaching faculty in several business schools, including his present adjunct appoint in the biotechnology master’s program at Johns Hopkins where he teaches finance, economics, and creating the biotechnology enterprise, where he was named faculty of the year in 2005.

His education includes University of Michigan (Ph.D., Human Genetics), MIT (Master of Science in Management; Alfred P. Sloan Fellow), University of Rochester (M.S. Biology), University of Pennsylvania (A.B. Mathematical Biology) and American University (J.D., 1987), and is admitted to the United States patent bar and the bar of the United States Supreme Court.

Patrick Avon

Founder and President of the intense, effective, yet extremely enjoyable fitness regimen known as, "The Sergeant's Program." Patrick created this unique conditioning routine to whip even the flabbiest of corporate executives into decent shape within four short weeks. In 1999 Simon and Shuster contracted Sarge to create a book about his brand of fitness. Titled Boot Camp with co-author MaryAnn Karinch they sold over 15,000 copies.

 
 

Dennis Fallen, Vice President and General Manager Fisher BioServices

Has over twenty-five years of experience in the health care industry and has been a manager and leader with start up ventures as well as large public companies and organizations. He developed a new consumer biotechnology business for cord blood storage, and founded a management services company in transfusion medicine. He was Vice President, Business Development, Baxter Healthcare Biotech Group and Vice President & General Manager of Plasma Therapeutics, American National Red Cross. His M.B.A. is from the Charles H. Kellstadt School of Business.

 
 

James Duke, Ph.D. (retired) USDA Research Scientist

James is considered one of the leading medicinal plant experts in the world. He retired from the United States Department of Agriculture research laboratories in Beltsville, Maryland, where he was involved in the discovery of the cancer drug Taxol.

 
 

John Fossella, Ph.D. directs the Laboratory of Molecular Imaging Genetics at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine.

The laboratory explores how genetic information can be used in life areas affected by brain development, including disorders and cognitive function. Dr. Fossella is active with his 501(c)(3) in developing biomarker-based informatics tools to help consumers shift to “consumer-directed” healthcare.

 
 

Alfred Freire provides over 20 years experience in technical and electronic sales

He has lived and worked in three continents and six countries, and speaks several languages fluently. His experience includes Phillips Electronics in the Scientific and Industrial Automation Division.

 
 

Konstantina Kacheves, Esq. co-chair’s Saul Ewing’s Patent Services Team

She was a patent examiner of gene expression and regulation technologies at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in Alexandria, Virginia. She is admitted to the state bars of New Mexico and Maryland, and the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

 
 

Patrick Jostock

Has over 25 years of experience in food and beverage manufacturing, product development, process control and marketing, all of which will be applied in the Health for You and JeneJuice brands

 
 

Sean Roddy has over 20 years experience in finance/accounting

He is a member of Watkins, Meegan, Drury, a regional accounting firm. He also served as CFO for a chemical safety company that he took public in an IPO, and raised $225 million in private placement while serving as CFO of a multi-national Fortune 100 affiliate.

 
 

Jeff Volek, R.D., Ph.D., is Assistant Professor in Kinesiology and Nutritional Sciences

He is a leading authority in dietary composition and effects on physical performance and health, with over 100 scientific contributions. He co-founded the Nutrition & Metabolism Society and is on the Editorial Board of Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise. His pioneering work with carbohydrate-restricted diets has helped redefine approaches to enhance clinical outcomes. His current research focuses on how dietary supplements influence physiological adaptations to different dietary and exercise regimens.

 
 

Herbert Woolf, Ph.D.

Brings 30 years of industry experience involving business development, technical marketing and technical services that includes BASF Corporation, the Dairy Research Foundation and Hoffmann-LaRoche.
